Learn the basics of how acoustic instruments like guitars, Ukuleles, mandolins, lutes, bouzoukis, and banjos are built.

We will meet twice a week for three weeks in the woodworking shop at Makersmiths’ Purcellville location.

New steps will be demonstrated each session and then you will perform those steps on a Ukulele that you will construct. Some steps you will complete during the lesson, some steps you may complete at home.

By the end of the course you will have built the Ukulele using your newfound skills that you can use to register for the next course that will focus on building a guitar.
