These are Makersmiths members who know how to do MIG welding but need to be checked off with the welding steward before using the equipment on their own.

Registration is closed

This is a wire feed welder red tool sign-off for MS-Purcellville's welding shop. It is NOT a beginner's welding class. Participants will show the welding steward the following competencies before being checked out to use MIG welding equipment. Participants will be expected to show how to safely set up, operate, and shut down the machine. Additionally, they will need to know how to replace the shielding gas tank, as well as how to replace the consumables.
