MS-L Laser Cutter Introduction

Basic Laser Cutter Skill Class

This class will show you the basic usage of the laser at Makersmiths along with safety considerations. After this class you will be authorized to use the laser. This class does not go into detail on designing projects or using the software but it is anticipated that participants will be able to create a simple keychain or coaster using scrap materials.

• Laser Use Guidelines and Policies

• Introduction to Laser Equipment

• Introduction to Laser Software

• Laser Safety Review

• Tips, Hints, and having FUN

• Hands on Training and Use
