Join us for a crochet make-and-take workshop for absolute beginners! In this workshop, we will be making crochet coasters with one of the basic crochet stitches — the “double crochet”stitch.

We will learn about how yarn thickness and hook size impact the size of a finished project, how to crochet a flat circle, how to make the double crochet stitch, as well as how to weave in ends to finish a project.

More experienced fiber artists are welcome to bring their own projects and come hang out - no need to sign up and pay!

No prior experience required, just a willingness to learn.

All materials will be provided: yarn, crochet hooks, scissors, tapestry needles, stitch markers.  Please bring your eye glasses and/or wrist braces if needed.

We will meet in the main room at the Leesburg location.
