Come join us for a RaspberryPi Workshop as we put together the pieces to stream Internet audio.

We will:

  • Put the Pi, power supply, SD card, and ethernet cable together
  • Format the SD card
  • Download a operating system distribution
  • Go thru first time start-up configuration
  • Set up web server
  • Personalize 'radio station list' to suit your preferences.

Makersmiths will furnish each participant with an SD card to take home to be able to plug in to their own RaspberryPi and have a working Internet Radio system. Class size is limited to six (we'll try and work in pairs...) and will be conducted in workshop style; if we don't finish first night we'll schedule additional evenings to reach the goal.

Bring your RaspberryPi and / or clean SD card (4GB or bigger) for your RaspberryPi. Students will leave with a working copy of SD Card.
