This class is designed for those new to 3D printing. You'll learn how to use a Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printer that melts and forms spools of plastic filament into 3-dimensional objects. We will review each of the printers we have at Makersmiths and how to prepare a 3D file for printing. Upon completion of this course, you'll be approved to start using the FDM 3D printers at both Leesburg and Purcellville on your own.

This class will be held at the new 3D Printing room at the Leesburg location.

Please note - This class does not cover how to design and create your own 3D model. Look for 3D Design Classes for Fusion 360 or TinkerCad.
